     Today, we read a short story called "On the Sidewalk, Bleeding" and did a short story quiz on it. We did this because the teacher can see what we need help with and get a better understanding why we did it wrong, so we can correct it. We can use this outside of humanities because it's good practicing for other tests and quizzes.

Remember to bring food items for the Food Bank.

Learning Blogs 29/10/2013

    Today, we went over our answers for the "Side Bet" (a short story we read a few days ago) practice sheet and did some silent reading. We did this so that we can have something to study for the test tomorrow. We can use this skill of practing before tests outside of Hum 8 almost anytime where we should have some practice before doing the real thing.

Homework:

-Study for test that's on Wednesday.
-Bring poster board, if you haven't yet.

Today in class we talked about our learning logs and we did another short story application. We do learning logs because it can help us understand what we are doing better and we did the short story application so we can understand the story better and to help us practice for the short story application quiz. for homework today we have our short story application and for people who didn't bring a poster for our portfolios, you have to buy one. You can get one at Mr.bullcock's room for only 50 cents.
