Good successful collaborations include having team work. If everybody would agree or give helpful advice or correction, if there was no team work it wouldn't work very we'll. Also nobody should be "in charge" because then it gets the other people thinking that their ideas aren't as important as the person that is in charge. But you do need leaders or it would not work.
The company worked on ideas together and didn't put down ideas. Then to make the whole thing happened they put all ideas together to create one idea that incorporated all ideas.
