In class on Wednesday we watched a video on Motivation and that when we think about motivation, we think about getting a reward. For example, money. The harder the task is the more money you get, and the easier the task is the less you get. Money is really important to most people because without money it's hard to survive. This is why money keeps us "motivated". But you're wrong. In the video it showed us that the more money you get paid the worst you do and the less money you get paid has better working results. Motivation doesn't always come from rewards such as money. People are more motivated when they do things they're interested in and things they enjoy doing. After watching the video, we had a class discussion on the best ways of being motivated. We decided that doing things we like and enjoy makes us more motivated then just doing things you don't like but getting paid.
Nelson Mandela Connections:
Nelson Mandela would be a good example of Motivation. He believes that any race is equal and no race should be better than each other. Even tho he was kept in jail for 27 years . He didn't give up. He kept fighting and protesting and eventually he became the president and accomplished what he wanted to always do.
